Mini skewers with bresaola and polenta chunks

  • 1/2 package of Polenta Valsugana Express Yellow
  • 1 spoon (15 g) of honey
  • white pepper
  • 5 pears
  • 250 g of slices of bresaola
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • for the decoration: parsley

Preparation

Put a pot of water to boil and add salt. Once the water starts boiling, slowly add the maize flour and mix well. With a wooden spoon, always stir in the same direction while the water is boiling. Cook for 8 minutes.

Flavour the polenta with honey.

Season with a sprinkle of pepper.

Pour into a baking tin and let it cool.

Cut the cold polenta into cubes.

Wash the pears, slice them and remove the seeds.

Roll a slice of bresaola.

On a spit, thread a piece of pear, a slice of rolled bresaola and a cube of polenta.

Garnish the skewers with parsley. Lay them on a tray. Season with ground pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve.
