I know that maize is gluten-free, but I would like to ask you whether there is a risk of accidental gluten contamination.

All the processing phases of Polenta Valsugana take place in environments and on production lines used exclusively for naturally gluten-free flours. Furthermore, in order to reduce the risk of possible accidental contamination, the plant implements all the quality procedures needed to monitor the raw materials and contain the risk within the limits allowed by the standard (gluten <20ppm).

Does Polenta Valsugana contain lactose? Or might there be a risk of contamination during production?

Polenta Valsugana is made from 100% maize flour and is therefore lactose-free; in addition, there is no risk of contamination as this allergen is not present on the production lines.
